Andri Tringidou - ARGUS Managing Director & Shareholder
Mrs Tringidou holds a BSc Economics degree (University of Cyprus) and the Professional Competency Certificates of the Cyprus Ministry of Finance in: Order Reception and Transmission, Investment Advice, Underwriting and Sponsoring Supervisor, Own Account Dealing and Portfolio Management. She is a Licensed Stock Trader for the Athens Stock Exchange and an Accredited Business Consultant (Cyprus Institute of Technology) with specializations in General and Financial Management. She worked at various brokerage firms before she founded ARGUS Stockbrokers in 2000, now a shareholder and Managing Director of the Company.
Christos Akkelides - ARGUS Director AM & shareholder
Qualified ACA and holder of a BEng Degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics. Previous experience includes employment at KPMG , Arthur Andersen, CLR and Egnatia Group where he gained significant experience in the fields of asset management and corporate finance. He has been a shareholder–manager in ARGUS since 2007. Christos has significant experience in proprietary strategy coding and algorithmic modeling. He is also active in the development and formulation of algorithmic strategies and he is responsible for the institutional business of the company including the hedge fund.
Yiannos Mouzouris - Shareholder
Yiannos has 15 years of experience in financial services and the shipping industry. Graduated with a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of WisconsinMadison in 1998 and MS in Finance, Investment and Banking from the same university in 1997. Worked for Prudential Securities Inc. in New York where he was responsible for structuring asset-backed securities and Tufton Oceanic in Cyprus and Dubai where he specialized in developing fund management products and corporate finance transactions in the maritime sector. Served on several boards including USB Bank pie, Argus Stockbrokers Ltd, Renal Services Ltd, lscont Lines Ltd He joined lnterorient Navigation Co Ltd in 2005 where he is responsible for business development.
Neoclis Nicolaou - Shareholder
Neoclis is Specialist in Corporate and Investment Banking. Has extensive experience in investment management, capital raising, project and investment financing, financial engineering, valuations and mergers and acquisitions Also, he is experienced in corporate strategy work. Over the years he has made Investment Banking services available to a large number of local and overseas companies both private and public. He has also acted as an expert advisor on governmental projects.
Savvas Theofilou - Head of Advisory Services & Partner
Savvas is a highly skilled finance professional with a strong technical background. He completed the UBS Private Wealth Management program in New York in 2005, acquiring comprehensive knowledge in financial advisory. Savvas acquired Series 7 license administered by FINRA, and now is licensed as an investment professional by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), having obtained the Advanced Certificate in 2008. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with a minor in Business Administration, from the University at Albany, State University of New York in 2002. In 2004, Savvas completed a Master of Arts in Economics, focusing on Financial Economics. Savvas has over 19 years of experience in the capital markets with primary focus on fundamental research, asset allocation, investment strategy implementation, and portfolio management. With over 15 years of dedicated service at ARGUS, Savvas has been a loyal employee and shareholder of the group. Managing investment mandates and offering valuable financial advice to a number of institutional investors is where his expertise lies, and it has significantly contributed to the company's success.
